The Watch Hill Fire Department sends a special thanks to our Brothers and Sisters in Law Enforcement today. Wednesday January 9th is National Law Enforcement Officer Appreciation Day in the US.

As several of our past and present firefighters have served or currently serve as Police Officers, Corrections Officers, and Special Agents, we salute all who wear the uniform.

In particular we give utmost appreciation to the men and women of the Westerly Police Department who always have our backs no matter what! We are proud to work with you everyday in service to our community.

We stand together as one family. Let us never forget those who have gone before us. Wishing all Law Enforcement officers everywhere continued safety and support from all of us at WHFD!
