The Watch Hill Fire Department held our annual awards night banquet on Friday February 17th at the Westerly Yacht Club. Many of our members and their guests enjoyed a great meal and good fellowship. Also in attendance were many invited guests. Including Chief David Sayles and his wife of Westerly Fire, Chief Michael J. Frink and his wife of Dunn's Corners Fire, Chief Michael Williams, and his wife from Ashaway Fire, Chief Fred Stanley of Hope Valley Fire & President of the Rhode Island Southern Fireman's League, Chief Louis Misto and his wife and Lieutenant Ray Elterich and his guest of the Misquamicut Fire Department. Also attending was Westerly's new Police Chief Edward St. Clare. On Saturday we had a practical training class scheduled so our out of town instructors also joined us for the evening. After dinner a DJ was on hand for some brave dancers.
A good time was had by all.
