ENGINE 102

Engine 102 is a 1996 KME Pumper Truck with a 1,250 gallon per minute pump and a 750 gallon water tank. The truck carries 1,500 feet of water supply house and is equipped with a variety of firefighting tools and equipment.
Engine 102 is utilized as the primary fire attack and initial response vehicle for the majority of our emergency calls.

Engine 102 is proudly dedicated to the memory of past Assistant Chief Shepard W. Simmons who passed away just before the delivery of E-102. "May the Shepard continue to watch over us."
LADDER 104

Ladder 104 is a 2007 Pierce Aerial Truck with a 100 foot aluminum ladder, a 2,000 gallon per minute pump and a 500 gallon water tank.
Ladder 104 also carries ground ladders and extension ladders. It carries a variety of hand tools, medical equipment, ventilation fans, salvage covers, overhaul equipment, care and rehab supplies, portable lighting and generators, self contained breathing apparatus, spare air cylinders and a thermal imaging camera.
Ladder 104 is proudly named "The Commander."
ENGINE 103

Engine 103 is a 2007 Ferrara Pumper Truck with a 1,500 gallon per minute pump and a 1000 gallon water tank. The truck carries large diameter water supply hose and is equipped with a variety of firefighting tools and equipment.
Engine 103 is utilized as the water supply truck and as the secondary response unit for fire attack. It also serves as the main brush fire truck.
This apparatus previously served the Bradford (RI) Fire District as Engine 511. It was refurbed and placed into service by the WHFD in the spring of 2015. Engine 103 proudly bears the name "The Chief."
ATV 100

ATV 100 is a 2012 Polaris Ranger All Terrain Vehicle . ATV 100 is utilized for beach and water rescue emergencies. ATV 100 is also equipped with a power winch for emergency calls that might arise.
In addition, ATV 100 is used for emergency calls including dune grass fires, brush fires, searches, patient and equipment transport. The ATV also carries a variety of equipment including an emergency trauma bag, shovels, and water fire extinguishers.
The ATV can also be placed on a flatbed trailer and moved to other communities should the need arise during a large scale incident.
MARINE 100

Marine 100 is an 17-foot Boston Whaler with a 90 horsepower outboard engine. It is used for responding to emergencies in and around Watch Hill Harbor. In the spring of 2017 Marine 100 was repowered with a new otuboard motor, got its wood work refurbished, and new emergency lighting.
MARINE 101

Marine 101 is a 2005 25 foot Safeboat Defender. A surplus US Coast Guard rescue boat that once served in Glouuster, MA, Marine 101 was placed into service with the Watch Hill Fire Department in Spring 2017. The boat was completely refurbished with new twin 225 hp outboard motors, new paint, and electronics. Marine 101 is our primary response boat to any type of emergency that occurs on our local waters. In keeping with the tradition of naming our front line apparatus, Marine 101 proudly bears the name "The Defender." The boat is dedicated to all veterans past, present, and future.
TRUCK 100

Truck 100 is a 4-wheel drive 2008 GMC 2500. Truck 100 is used as a secondary response vehicle for water and beach rescue emergencies. It is also used for traffic control and fire police activities. The truck can also be equipped for plowing and sanding activities during emergency calls. The truck was previously assigned as Squad 100 prior to the new squad going in service in April of 2019.
SQUAD 100

Squad 100 is a 4-wheel drive 2019 GMC 3500. This is our primary response truck to any water or beach rescue as it contains all of our summer and cold water rescue equipment. It is also used for traffic control and fire police activities. This unit can also be used during trailer operations for various emergencys or training drills that we might partake in. This truck also carries our full compliment of auto extrication equipment including a HURST cutter and spreader, cribbing, and various tools used in removing victims trapped in auto accidents. It is also equipped with a portable underwater camera.
SUPPORT TRAILERS

The Watch Hill Fire Department also has 3 different support trailers to assist in operations of the fire department.
Special Operations- This Trailer is equipped with several portable pumps and generators to be used during water emergency calls. The unit is also equipped with lengths of hose and floating strainers for the pumps.
Support Services- This Trailer is equipped with several props used for training. It is also used for our Rehab supplies that we might need during or after a large scale incident. These items include a coffee pot, blankets, and various medical supplies.
Cascade Unit- The Cascade unit is our mobile air station. Inside of this trailer is a unit that we are able to fill all of our SCOTT Air bottles that the firefighters use while putting out a fire. The Cascade unit is also equipped with spare bottles to be used while the others are being filled.
